Register now for our spring recreation program!
The Bethlehem Soccer Club is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the Spring Recreation Program.
Program Details
· The program is open to children aged Pre-K through 8th grade.
· All teams are co-ed.
· The program will be 7 weeks in duration, beginning on Saturday, May 4th with our Recreation Kick Off Event.
· Weekly practices will begin Monday, May 6th.
· Saturday games will begin Saturday, May 11th, with the final games of the season being played on Saturday, June 22th.
· Picture Day will be Saturday, May 18th.
· The cost of the program is $125.00.
· Players will be assigned to age appropriate group teams. Each team will practice 1 day during the week and then have a game on Saturday morning.
Registration Information
· On-time registration will end on Sunday, April 7th, 2024. Please sign up as soon as possible! Prompt registration allows us to create teams and divisions in a timely manner.
· Consider carefully your volunteer job; make sure it is one you can fulfill. If you have some knowledge of soccer or are willing to learn, please consider being a coach as this is critical to the number of teams we can support. The smaller the player-coach ratio, the better instruction we can provide. Without volunteer coaches, this program is not possible.
· If you do not wish to volunteer, you may opt out at a fee of $50 per family per season (if you are registering multiple children, the fee is only paid once per family. Also please note, academy opt-out fee is separate.)
Regarding Practices & Games
· The Pre K and Kindergarten age team practices will be led by BSC staff coaches for the first 20-25 minutes, with the remainder of the practice being led by the parent coaches. Games on Saturdays will be led by the parent coaches.
· The 1st grade through 8th grade groups will be led by parent coaches for both practices and games.
· Games are on Saturday mornings between 9am and 1pm.
Additional Details
· Each player will receive a team t-shirt.
· Each player will need to bring their own soccer ball, shin guards and water bottle.
· Registrants will receive an email approximately 1 week prior to the Kick Off Event confirming their team, coach and practice day & location, as well as additional details regarding the program.
